Day 4 – NT/WA Border to Lake Argyle – 12/7/18

7.45am wake up all exhausted but keen to get moving and be able to set up camp for a few days we hit the road. Arrived at Kununarra a short time later and spent the day getting washing done, new tyre, shopping and some time out of the cars. We separated the convoy at lunch time and mum and dad headed toward Lake Argyle while we stayed in town for a chiropractic appointment as my neck ceased up the night before and was lucky enough to get an appointment.

We arrived at Lake Argyle about 4pm and set up camp next to mum and dad. The place is incredible, amazing views and plenty to do as well as a very generous spacious camp site so we set up and enjoyed just relaxing. We headed down to the Infinity Pool just before sunset to have a look and WOW what an incredible place, photos honestly don’t do this justice – WAYYY to cold to go swimming, running at approx 19-20 degrees but feels far colder we all stayed well away from the water.

The caravan park has a beer garden, a restaurant, private en suites, and the pool. Helicopter launch pad is just near the pool so Alexis got to check out the helicopters up close and was super excited.
Down time to rest and recover and prepare for another big day tomorrow with the cruise on Lake Argyle booked we headed off to bed.

28 weeks pregnant today – officially 7 months and in the middle of nowhere but feeling really good.
